After a stellar launch party and sold out first collection, independent fashion and jewelery inspired label STÖÖKI are raising the bar once again by throwing a night showcasing creativity, music and fashion with their -C U R A T E S- party at the Redbull Studio's on Friday 21st of October. This is a night which celebrates all that is creative so one to definitely not miss out on....

Workshops:
CUT, STITCH & STYLE (Fashion)

Participants will create a collaborative pattern on fabric, in a fun pass the parcel format. This will be then transformed into a customised, multi-functional, Stööki accessory and styled on the group as a live compilation of the Stööki Curates Look Book


SKETCH ME IF YOU CAN (Art) 

In this graffiti based game, your invited to a rave that takes place in a mystery location. all you have is pens and post-it notes, to visualise your experience. You will be asked a series of questions to prompt your imagination and whilst you sketch your responses, the artists will create a mural based on your visual feedback.

STOOKI SOUND WAVE (Music)

Attendees will compose a live track that consists of audience participation. You will be transformed into sound wave architects to produce beats, melodies and vocals. The completed song will be added to the Stööki Sound debut e.p entitled Obscura and be released with Stööki’s next collection.

After the workshops, STÖÖKI shall unveil a preview look at their second collection

Yes your reading the tilte right, one of the most eagerly anticipated nights in Boiler Room history, Thom Yorke set-up shop for one night only at the Boiler Room. Its a great set but I must say the crowd are a complete and utter let down, why invite people who are just going to stand around all uptight and not fucking dance? pfff! pointless, but anyway, download Mr Yorke's set HERE!, play it loud in your room... pretend you were there too.

Wow this one has blown me right back to my teenage years. Mosca brings us his new release on Numbers. Bax/Done Me Wrong, in which he has sampled some great old school Garage classics, don't sleep on this one. I can't wait to hear this full volume on a night out...... instant classic

EAR CANDY: Joy Orbision - So Derobe.

An oldie, but a goodie. The build up till the bass drops is too much. For those of you that don't know Joy O....  GET TO KNOW!!!!.

A few good bits from UK Grime/Hip-hop, whatever you wana call it these days...

I don't know if its just me or what, but I get the feeling Kano quiet often gets over looked, which I think is a shame. I've been a fan since P's & Q's. It's a great co-lab track and the beat ain't too bad either.

The next tracks from Nate, loving the slow beat something a little different from a UK artist is always a good thing. You can follow and download his new mixtape here.

This next one is a beauty. A friend introduced me to this guy a couple of weeks ago. He goes by the name of Dirty Dike and this track "Pork Pie" is out now on High Focus Records and will feature on his album. All I can say it's brought a smile to my face and I ended up listening to my old 2000 - 2004 UK hip hop for the rest of the week.

And last but not least... is Piff Gang. Their mixtape "PIFF BREAKS & 808's". I'm loving this mixtape, it really is something a little different from the UK scene. The beats are sweet, make sure you download the mixtape free from their site HERE.
