Second son have been busy this year we had the colab with US Brand Durkl aswell a T-shirt Colab with sneaker designer Nash Money, and they certainly have dropped their standards here. They Bring us an amazing Oxford Shirt with some great subtle tone pannels on which makes a really nice feature the little detials are the ones which count the most in my eyes. Then weve got the chinos always a classic espcially with that preppy look which seems to be thriving right now, and the finishing touches to an outfit as always second son delivers with a series of belts with some nice detailing made in italy from premium fabrics.

Certianly one of Second Sons biggest drops so far the guys are certianly uping the game and going all out on detail and quality as well as keeping to their gaphic routes with that ever distictive playfulness and british humour which we always get from Second Son.

TIMZED-GHOST EP [PROMO]

I posted a TIMZED track up a while back and since then he's been working hard on his EP. TIMZED has released this free promo featuring 5tracks, a really nice mix of dub beats with chilled notes over the top with some sounding almost haunting but a great sound still.

Recently getting some plays and air time on some of the BBC RADIO1 shows he's defintaly caught peoples imagination. Its nice to hear some less grimey dub beats and something thats great to get you in the mood for summer chilling, great beats, I recommend downloading STRAIGHT AWAY!, and make sure to keep your eye and ear out for this guy.

Death before Dishonour - New T-shirt Design

Death before Dishonour have been been producing some really nice prints for a while now. this is the latest design DBD is putting out theres aome amzing detail on this print and the intrestng thing behind a lot of their deisgns is the meaning they hold

DBD told me a little more about this deign and the meanings behind it

"Shishi-guchi means lion’s mouth. It is a Japanese Mythical mask. The version I have created again depicts enlightenment. The Head is partly in the sky and partly in the sea. This is to show the realization that all is one in every part of the universe. The two cross thunderbolts go straight through the head to symbolise the moment that ultimate reality is realised. The lightening bolts are aflame with Japanese tattoo style flames. Death from above is a military slogan and I have used it to refer to the thunderbolts smashing through the head. The third eye is open symbolising the dawn of spiritual wisdom. The chewing of the eye in the mouth means destruction of the mundane vision of the everyday eye.As always I put a contemporary slant on the old ancient wisdom of the east"

make sure you check Death before Dishonour out they have these and a ton of other really nice deisgns for sale at their site The link is below .

FREE AMUK

Just over 2 weeks ago one of our closet friends Tom Stanley (AMUK) was jailed for 18 months (9 months on good behavior). I've known Tom for 3 years now and met him in my first year of Uni, we instantly got along. He also introduced me to other good friends over the next 18 months of Uni. Everyone enjoys Tom's company, I can safely say he's one of the most down to earth, friendly, polite guys I have ever met and he's always willing to help out.

Tom is an amazing graffiti artist and goes by the name of AMUK, which some of you may of heard before because he's quite well known on the graffitti scene. Tom had an unfortunate run-in with the BTP (British Transport Police) a couple of years ago and ever since the BTP have been building a case against him which ended 2 weeks ago with him being sent down for 18 mounths for apparently causing £50,000 worth of criminal damage. Now for all those out there who hate graffiti when it comes to tagging and scrathing shit in windows thats all pointless, but Tom is an artist his work is truly impressive.

Since his run-in with the BTP he has made sure he kept his head down and gave back to his community. He's taken part in several exhibitions including last summers Decked Project at the Stolen Space Gallery (Brick lane). He also started workng for the local council in Kent teaching children how to graffiti onto boards at local youth centres to keep them off the streets. However, all his efforts were set aside as the judge sentenced him to 18 months setting Tom as an example to others.

18 months is too harsh of a sentence when you consider the length of time some offenders get for drink driving and the possiblity of killing some one, even compared to those who commit burglary, theft or assult, these poeple are getting lesser sentences. It seems mad that a young man that doesn't drink or take drugs and is a respectable citiezen other than painting on some walls should get such a sentence. The British justice system is truly scewed up and unjust.

Just so know it costs something like £1,000 per week of the tax payers money to keep someone in prison, so after 18 months thats something like £70,000. How is this helping him pay back the £50,000 that he has apparently casued?... its such a waste of money. The justice system are wasting 18 months of someones life who simply does not deserve to be there.

Frineds of Tom have set up a support group for him on Facebook and hope to put a petition together as I'm aware. So if you feel that this is a ridiculous use of the British Justice System, a waste of 18 mounths and a waste of the tax payers money, PLEASE! join and support.

Tom was also only 3 weeks away from graduating from University.

Below are some pics I took of Tom when he was
asked to do some work for a local youth centre.

This is a link to the most recent news paper article regarding Tom

this is a track dedicated to Tom from one of his closest friends who is a msuician.
its a great track made me smile a lot.

And Finally, this is the link to the support group. So if you feel strongly
about this kind of thing go show some support for an amazingly talented artist,
and up most a great guy who really doesn't deserve this kind of sentence.
