EAR CANDY: Lana Del Rey - Video Games (Joy Orbison Remix)

I don't really know much about Lana Del Rey's music, however this remix by Joy Orbision of her Video Games track is absolutely fantastic... sends chills down my spine.

Kingdom - Dreama EP

Kingdom is a producer that delivers the goods over and over and over again. His latest release sounds dope, the four track EP in my mind is incredibly diverse, listening to the preview I can hear smooth beats grime style beats and space age melodies. This is looking to be one of my favorite releases of this year... Loving it.

Kidnap Kid - The Apocalypse Of John EP

Its always nice to hear an artist you've never heard of before and be pleasantly surprised, its even nicer when you listen to some of the the other artists on the same record label and find that they are really good too.
I don't know if I'm behind times or I've just missed these guys before but this Ep from Kidnap Kid titled "The Apocalypse Of John" is really up my street. In fact the whole roster on the Sheffield based Squelch and Clap Record label has really got me going. I've been listening to there soundcloud for well over an hour now and haven't come across a track I haven't enjoyed. It feels like theres a lot of diversity in the artists work with some funky and soulful beats as well as more tech and garage feel tracks too.

Enjoying this a lot and will being keeping a close on their future releases.

R&S Records: VARIOUS ARTISTS - IOTDXI

London based record label R&S put out their latest VA album offering titled IOTDXI.
R&S are arguably the one of the most forward thinking and diverse electronic music labels about with thier history spanning back to the mid 80's and whats best is they represent some of the finest UK talent about such as James Blake and Blawan
to name a couple.

This new compilation album represents the best of their roster over the last 18 months and CD1 and some brilliant new tracks on CD2. If you know anything about electronic music you know that this VA album wont disappoint.

Below is 3 tracks of the album which I particularly love but make sure you go cop this VA.

Words escape me....

I've been rather busy in the old' home studio.

Boiler Room #69 LONE

Boiler Room #69 was mainly focused on Thom Yorke, however in my opinion LONE's set stole the night by a mile. An absolute killer of a mix... makes me want to get up and dance, don't! watch the crowd just enjoy the music. Download the full set and enjoy this beauty here!
